equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active
mission ministries and to financially support global missions.
The LWML focuses on ...
Richer Spiritual Living
Global Awareness for Ministry
Avenues for God-blessed Service
LWML meetings are held at Zion on the first Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. to conduct the business of the society and Christian growth Bible studies and devotions. Mites and offerings are collected and dedicated to support local and international outreach efforts, such as the Fiarbanks Community Food Bank, the Fairbanks Rescue Mission, the Alaska Mission for Christ and overseas missions. Members travel to participate in Alaska zone, WA-AK, district and national LWML functions and conventions. Zion's LWML is affiliated with the national organization which hosts the website, http://www.lwml.org.
