My husband Jim and I transferred to Zion Lutheran Church in early 2002 and feel very blessed to have been guided to Zion. Both of us grew up in North Dakota. I graduated from Dickinson State University with a Bachelors of Business Education and joined Jim in Alaska in 1974. Since then I have worked as an office professional, including nearly 17 years in Human Resources, Public Relations and as an Administrative Assistant for Golden Valley Electric.
We have three children, two wonderful son-in-laws, and finally a granddaughter born in September 2005. Heather is married to Aaron Hochhalter and they are the parents of Paige; they moved to Fairbanks in July 2006. Holly is married to Eric Provost; they live in Milwaukee, Oregon. The youngest, Jimmy, is enrolled in a lineman apprentice program.
God has indeed blessed me by making me a part of the ministry at Zion Lutheran. God’s presence is so obvious in the people and ministries at Zion. I look forward to supporting Him and others through my work at Zion.
