Zion Family Album
This page spotlights members of the
Zion Family. They come from all parts of the country and
have unique histories and backgrounds. Many have come to Fairbanks
because of employment. Some have been in Fairbanks for
many years and others are recent arrivals. You will see
a variety of people here. All have one thing in common
- they are loved by God, redeemed by the blood of His Son, and
chosen to be a member of His eternal family.

Why Stop at a Dozen?
Jim and Moriah and their five boys, Jack, Ross, Hugh, Miles and Max (all 6 and under) are all about
family! Rarely will you find just one of them, as they come as
a package deal! They met right here in Fairbanks and have been
an active and important part of Zion for the last 4 years. (Jim
is the drummer in the Praise Team at the 11:00 am service.) If
you see them, ask them how the sleep is going! Whose turn is
it to feed the twins?

Blessed!
The Jensens are "Blessed
in Hawaii" on Shannon and Scott's wedding day. Delaine,
Jylle and Scott are long-time members of God's family at Zion. It
was 1973 when Jylle, age 3, said, "I want to go to church." That
was just the beginning; the best is yet to come!

David and Wendi Lyons have been attending Zion for
about three years and living in Fairbanks for only a little longer. Wendi sings with the Praise team and they have a home Bible study on Saturdays. The photo was taken two days after
David returned from a year in Iraq - which explains the big smiles. December in Alaska is a wonderful place to be - especially after living in the
sand.
