			Come & See, Go & Tell!	Welcome to Zion Lutheran Church! Zion, located in the Interior of Alaska, is the northernmost congregation in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We are family-oriented, and our members come from diverse backgrounds. Please explore our website to discover more about Zion, our beliefs, our ministies, and the Fairbanks community. Because….Therefore classes Pastor Kuehnert offers a Because…Therefore class several times a year to provide an opportunity to explore the basics of what it means to be a Christian. The course also serves as a way to become a member of Zion Lutheran Church . Current classes: Sunday morning edition – 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. (education hour) – February 10 through May 11 all the Zion office at 456-7660 for more information



			IMPACT Wednesday Nights at Zion Take a night off from cooking! Join us on Wednesdays beginning at 5:30 pm. A buffet dinner is served in Zion's Cafe in the front entry to the church. Our thanks to Dana Elmore and Wendy Lyons for getting this ministry of Zion up and running, as a source of help and inspirition for adults and children as we walk our Christian walk - Everything from Luther to Loneliness! 		Simply Giving-"A simple Choice; A Generous Response" Zion Participates in the Simply Giving Program offered through Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Through Simply Giving you offerings are made through a pre-authorized withdrawl from your bank account. You determine the frequency of your automatic donation, and your donation is deposited into our bank account the same day it is withdrawn from your account. Cold weather policy: Worship services, Sunday morning Education Hour, and Celebrate Recovery on Friday nights will be held as scheduled regardless of weather. For other activities, if local stations are warning us to stay off the roads due to extreme road conditions or if the temperature is -40F or colder in the four hours prior to an activity (according to 458-3745, ext. 1113 ), it will be cancelled.
